I'm Going To Give You The Coach Walz Pep

Today we are going to tell you Walz Pep’s words, he said that in honor of that I’m going to tell you Coach’s words because we’re about to start time here. Minnesota has a lot in common with Pennsylvania, we have a lot of beautiful lakes, we get a lot of snow, we don’t have the same Superbowl rings but we’ll get one someday. But we share a history, it was the people who built this country

It was the miners of the iron fields of Minnesota who pulled that tack out of the ground at night. That view of the blast furnaces of the steel mills that made the steel that built the tanks that freed you you’re a pro Nazi tyrant I was our people.

They’re the same steel mills that realized that built the roads, bridges in the skyscrapers from coast to coast across this great country and it would be the same miners that put the green skills in the ground that continue to do the great good union jobs that continue to build this country. This is us we’re optimistic people for God’s sake you get ten feet of snow we’re you just plow with a smile that’s what you do, we walk on water half the year in Minnesota because we’re optimistic. We understand it’s about coming together it’s about pets it’s about pushing past the pessimism and looking toward optimism and here’s our Gail we’re all in the big game.

The fourth quarter was down to a field goal the clock is ticking yes I know you’re seeing something. And at this point were the underdogs but that’s okay have people always been underdogs have people always known how to get the job done have people always faced long odds for good we made a living of a cold harsh climate and we made the best standard of living anywhere in the world and we get it. We get it from this beautiful tapestry of people who make it work so I’ll look here’s our work.

Balls in our hands this is our time, it’s our job to block and tackle in politics, phone calls at a time in the yard on the edge of time, you don’t get five dollar donations at a time, one rally at a time, whatever it is, a lot of where the momentum is in the game, it doesn’t matter if it’s a beautiful night, it doesn’t matter if it’s in Las Vegas with a hundred and nine degrees, it doesn’t matter if it was in some field in western Wisconsin, people all across the country are coming out and saying I’m not with the pessimism, I’m mad with the bullshit.

Let’s talk in this country and let’s find a new way to move forward. It’s incredible to have each of you here, it would be easier to see that if we didn’t have to do this, it would be easier if these people undermined our system, if they didn’t lie about the election, if they didn’t put women’s health at risk, but they are, so for us to have the privilege to be here is a real privilege. Standing in this part with so many people.

It’s very possible and most likely that the path to the White House will go through this park in Iraq and politics is not a means to an end, I often talk about this we don’t win elections, bank political capital to win another election, we win elections, burn political capital, make people’s lives better, here you have an opportunity now to turn this momentum into winning elections into activism in an effort to get out of the boat and will we wake up on that sixty second day, we have sixty one days left and say to our neighbors and people I’m fed up with this, that’s what they want to do, they want to make people fed up with this, they want to believe that the system doesn’t work, they want to believe that.

Just stay home, that’s what other people want, so people tell me I’m not that into politics, you know you answer them politics is so bad you know it’s so much in your bedroom this and your life this and every aspect of your life and don’t think these people have a plan and I’m going to say after what happened in Georgia yesterday they spent their time banning books instead of banning assault weapons, this is bullshit this is bullshit.
